A Long Way to GO!

I am 47, 5 ft 5 in and I have a lot of weight to lose. My goal is to lose over 100 pounds. I lost about 6 pounds in May and June, but I was not consistent. I started on Fitclick on July 3rd and have found it great. In less than two weeks I have lost 6 pounds. I went from a 266 lb to 258. I have been tracking everything I eat and drink. Been staying away from my favourites like chocolate, pepsi, and pizza. I have also been walking pretty much every day for 30 min. Some I walk more. I also have been lifting some weights. In may I was 272 lbs. Now I am 258. My goal is to get to around 245 by the end of the summer and by the end of next summer e close to my goal weight. I feel better already. I know that the more I lose, the better I will feel.
My son also needs to lose about 50lb. He is 15 and is starting with some health problems. He has sleep apnea. He does not feel the need to lose weight. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get him to understand that he needs to control what he eats and exercise more? If you do, let me know.
