It has been a while since I blogged here and a long and circuitous path. Yesterday, I was exchanging my winter wardrobe for my summer wardrobe and came across the clothes I wore to take photos when I started this weight loss plan in September 2012.
While the photo is a bit blurry and reminded me that I should get a better phone, it also served as amazing motivation for me!

November 15th was nine weeks into my new love me lifestyle! I have never managed to stick with a diet that long in my whole life. So I found myself trying to figure out why this time is different. Here are my thoughts.

Last Saturday I was unable to get to the gym for my planned workout because my car sprung an antifreeze leak and a friend was coming by to take a look at it in exchange for dinner. Now that's a deal I can't pass up. He spent the better part of the day trying to find the leak, but to no avail. No leak was located. First the success....So, it's football day! A day to eat buffalo wings and drink beer. Its a tradition, a ritual! I promised myself that I would not deny myself this ritual. I chose to forego the ritual today and attempt to start new one. I promised myself that, if the new plan didn't make me happy, I would order wings at half-time.

I got weighed yesterday morning and I was down 0.4 pounds from the day before when I bought my new scale which betrayed me by setting me back 3.6 pounds from my original starting weight. This morning when I got weighed, I was back to my starting weight!!! I couldn't be happier! Hope the new scale is working properly!
