This is based on a weight of 197. 

 

It's really simple. If there's an elevator, there's most like a stairway. So take that instead. The website above says that a person weighing between 150-160 lbs. will burn 7 calories a minute taking the stairs. That's 70 calories for just 10 minutes of stairs. 

 

Taking just one flight of stairs (average flight is 12 steps) is going 0.0035 miles.
