Food Comments

Eat 1/2 hour before meal with full glass of water.. Recommended by a bariatric surgeon. Does raise blood sugars temporarily but they also drop back to normal quickly. I would eat 1/2 of a bar to get the correct sugars. Not that great on protein, but 5 is better than the 2 in regular granola bars. NO sugar alcohols which is good, because those can wreak havoc on the stomach. However, there is brown rice syrup and there is regular sugar, so this is NOT good for people newly out of RnY surgery.
