DAY 22 RETEST-EVE

Tomorrow is my retest. I'm very much all in my head and extremely anxious. If I don't pass I did all this for nothing?

Jodi was late but gave me a call and told me to run my mile and she'd be there by the time I got back. The running sucked! I just didn't want to and my shins were cramping. DAY 20- I really didn't want my abs shredded today.

I still woke up feeling blah and tiered. I really didn't want to go see Jodi. I went. I guess I have more discipline than I thought. Today she had me do an ab shredding workout. I warmed up with jump roping and then I did only two exercises for the next 30 minutes.

She set up a row of different sized kettle bells about 8 inches apart. I had to do traverse push ups. I think that's what she called them. Anyway I had to post up on two bells and do a push up. Then move to the next bel...

Wednesday 10-20-10

Today is my day to be on my own. I didn't do anything in the morning. I was just plain tiered. I slept. I don't have to get up on Friday morning because my son does NOT have school that day so I decided I better go to the gym when I get home. I only get 1 free day a week. I went with the boyfriend at 10pm at night. It was lame. The regular gym is sooo boring. I like classes and kettle bells and cross fit. Sitting on a machine for half an hour is mind numbing. I ...

DAY 18- HOLY SH*T!

I went to Jodi's new facility today. It is much larger and full of more stuff. She had me do my work out on my skates today.

Warm ups were doing shuttle runs in my skates. yes RUN not roll.

I took my dog for a run this morning. I only went about half a mile. I walked the rest of the way. I just don't feel like it. I have derby practice tonight. I hope I can shake this blahs.

DAY 15- I hate RUNNING!

Saturday 10-16-10

Jodi made me run a mile and a half today. Still not my favorite thing to do. I did have enough energy to sprint the last 50 yards then Jodi hopped on my back and made me carry her to the door!

That sucked up alot of time. We quickly did some cross training. She had me pick up this 6x6 chain link fence gate and do side bends with it corner to corner. Then I had to hold it over my head and do walking lunges.

DAY 14- HALF WAY

10-14-10 Thursday

Met Jodi at 8am.

Started off jumping rope with what she calls "the suck". "The Suck" is a two inch thick rope. It's heavy and it hurts.

Next she had me pick up two 70lb sandbags. Picking up the first one was no problem but getting the second one on my shoulders without dropping the first was a challenge. Jodi doesn't help either. Half the battle is getting them both on your shoulders. FINALLY I did and then we we...
