I only had an hour today. I used a treadmill for the first time. It makes you earn your keep. I set it on a heart healthy setting, speed and incline varied. Thirty minutes was worth it. A lot tougher than walking the track.
I did thighs, lower back and abs. Love work on my core. I added weight and less reps on everything.

Today, I started with a brisk walk. The muscles in my shins were a little tight, but not what I would consider shin splints. I kept up a good pace, more steady than yesterday. I think yesterday could be considered performance anxiety. I was comfortable enough that I did my version of a slow jog for one lap.
