Isometric Triceps Extension

Calories Burned:  408 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Primary Muscles Trained:  Triceps
Secondary Muscles Trained:  Latissimus Dorsi

START: Stand as tall as you can with your feet spread shoulder-width apart.

MOVEMENT: Rotate your arms so your palms face forward and your thumbs point out to the sides and slightly backward. Now squeeze your triceps and push the back of your hands away from your body behind you. Hold this position for 45 seconds, and then slowly release your arms back to the starting position.
