Calories Burned:  204 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Begin seated in a cross legged position, sukhasana. It can be helpful to have the hips raised on a meditation cushion or folded blanket.

Send your tailbone toward the earth as the top of your head reaches to the sky.

Relax your shoulders

Your eyes can be closed or slightly open with the gaze falling to the floor a few feet in front of you.

Rest you hands on your thighs with your palms facing down.

Turn your attention inward, away from outside distractions. Allow the mind to settle.

Pay attention to your breath. If thoughts pull your attention away from your breath, gently bring it back.
