No turning back
Well, today I decided NOT to have weight loss surgery. I was not a good candidate for gastric bypass after many months of trying , insurance turned down the sleeve and I have no peace with the band so I am determined to try one more time and this time to make it.
I have said that so many times. I know the importance of tracking everything and I have never done it, then God led me to this site. Hopefully it will work. I need this for myself , and for my family. Everyone has been so supportive with the curve balls I have thrown them it is time I proved myself to them but more importantly to myself. I think I have failed myself most of all.
I want to do it smart this time and I also know I may need to deal with some emotional issues but I am ready. So today I begin anew.
I can do this!

This is a good beginning.
Atleast you are aware that you need to do this for YOU and not anyone else. A trick that I use when I feel the urge to fall off the wagon (which is everyday), is say to myself "So I want that or do I want to Look good and feel great?" I usually say I don't want that as much as I want to look good and feel great. I just have more confidence when I am in better shape.

I have about 65-70 pounds to lose. I lost 47 and then fell off the wagon after my father died nearly a year ago. Comfort food was all I had. But I have started out again and I refuse to give up. I intend to lose the 30 pounds I gained back by my 50th birthday, which is in July. Sooo...if you ever feel like you are going to give up or caving or weak, write me. Hopefully I can help you over the hump and move closer to your goal!!
Take care for now - AnnMarie
