Identify Your Weight Class

The BMI, or body mass index, calculation compares body weight and height. To calculate BMI, the formula divides: (1) your weight (in pounds) multiplied by 703; by (2) the square of your height (in inches). The result produces a value to determine whether you are considered underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese.
