Description: This depression era recipe has no eggs and is delicious! It is a moist chocolate cake recipe. It is called Lazy Cake because you dump all the items in one bowl and mixit up..then put in your cakepan or cubcake papers. I have adapted it - exchanging the sugar for Splenda. Makes 12 cupcakes.

Ingredients:  Makes 12 servings (12 each)
1-1/2  cups
 
1  cup
 
3  tablespoons
 
1/2  teaspoon
 
1  tablespoon
 
6  tablespoons
 
1  teaspoon
 
1  cup

Directions:  
Put all items in a mixing bowl. Beat by hand OR use an electric mixer to mix until smooth.

Pour into cupcake pan, lined with cupcake papers. OR put parchment paper on bottom of 8 inch by 8 inch pan and pour cake batter in.

Bake cupcakes 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Bake cake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

TEST FOR DONENESS: put wood toothpick in center, if it comes out clean the cake is done.
