Description: Delicious raspberry almond cookies from Patti Huffhand
Ingredients:  Makes 48 servings (48 pieces)

Directions:

Combine butter, sugar, almond extract in bowl. Mix on medium speed until creamy.

Add flour and mix on low speed until mixed

Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hr. or until firm

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls

Place the balls about 2” apart on UNGREASED cookie sheet

Make thumbprint into center of the ball

Put ¼ tsp. raspberry jam into thumbprint

Bake 14-18 min. until lightly browned.

Cool for 1 min on cookie sheet and move to cooling rack

Cool completely

Combine glaze ingredients with whisk until smooth

Drizzle over cookies
