Combine chicken, dry spices, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice. Marinate for at least half an hour.

Heat a large thick pan then add oil. Add chicken and fry until brown on both sides. Chicken does not need to be cooked through.

Remove Chicken from pan and add carrots, onion, and green apple. Cook on medium heat until onion turns translucent.

Add all ingredients to the pan with 1 cup water. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and vegetables have turned into a thick gravy. About 1 hour.
