Description: number one breakfast in Hawaii hamburger or spam is the choice of meat. I prefer Sausage, trying to keep fat and carbs low, so I use less of the normal ingredients. Original recipe can be found on the internet Loco Moco
Ingredients:  Makes 1 serving (1 bowl)

Directions:  
place all ingredient on a tray ready for prep
use one medium nonstick frying pan and one small nonstick fry pan
fill water in small fry pan for poaching the egg, place pan on medium hat
crack the egg into small dish, when water is bubbling slowly add egg swirl in pan. if you are using more than an ounce of meat do this step halfway through the cooking time of the meat and mushrooms) the egg should take only three minutes to cook turn the heat down, cook until done.
make a ball of the ground meat flatten thin, using medium fry pan add the meat and slice the mushrooms add with the meat. add the spices, liquid and dry. taste to see if you desire more spice.
I buy the Lundberg jasmine rice from Costco it has six packets in the box. it only takes 90 seconds to microwave. Plate layering rice, mushrooms, meat top with egg. optional scallions, avocado slice r just as is.
