Put hashbrowns in bottom of pan

Melt 1 stick of butter

Spread PART of melted butter on hashbrowns

Mix together soup, sour cream and shredded cheese

Spread mixture on top of hashbrowns

Sprinkle corn flakes over the top of mixture

Use the remaining melted butter to spread over the top of corn flakes

Cook for 35-45 minutes on approximately 350 degrees (depending on your oven)
