In deep sauce pan, combine beef, potatoes, water and spices. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and cover tightly. Simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Mix cornstarch with lemon juice and add to stew. Cook for 1 minute stirring constantly until thick and bubbling.
