Directions:  
thinly slice beef and saute with onions. Add veggies, broth and turn down on low. simmer until meat is tender. Add water as necessary. Mix flour and half a cup of water. Stir slowly into soup, thicken and serve. Add garlic, thyme, pepper, salt as needed.
