angel food cake

8		egg whites
1  teaspoon		Cream of Tartar
1/4  teaspoon		Morton Table Salt - Iodized
1  cup		White Sugar - Granulated
1-1/4  teaspoons		Vanilla Extract
3/4  cup		Gold Medal White All Purpose Flour - Unbleached, Sifted, Enriched

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt till foamy.
Add sugar and beat till fluffy and peaks form.
Blend in vanilla and beat 1 minute.
Sprinkle flour into egg white mixture a little at a time mixing well after each sprinkle. Sprinkle in about 6 to 8 divisions.
Spray a 9 x 12 baking pan with Pam.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bang it on the kitchen counter to get all air bubbles to rise to top before placing into oven.
Also make sure batter is even in pan.
Place in an oven preheated at 350 degrees.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until lightly golden on top and a cake tester comes out clean.
Let cool for about 1 hour and then invert onto a serving plate.
