Directions:
Put vegetable stock, sea salt and black pepper in pan and bring to boil. While it comes to a boil, put quinoa in a deep bowl and cover with cold water. For sweet recipes, use plain water instead of vegetable broth and skip the black pepper. ºQuinoa is coated with saponin, a bitter naturally occuring substance. It has been processed to remove this but this grain tastes much better if you wash it remove any residual saponin.
