Directions:  
Slice Tomatoes into 1/8" thick slices and place in cold water. Add 2 Tbsps of oil to skillet and heat over med heat until hot. While skillet is heating coat enough tomato slices with cornmeal to make single layer on bottom of skillet. Place slices into hot skillet and brown well on both sides then remove and place on plate covered with papertowel. Repeat until all slices are finished. Add additional oil as needed.
