Heat the oil over medium heat in a saucepan. Add the onion, celery, carrot, and bacon pieces to the pan and saute for 5 minutes. Mix in the garlic and bison and cook until the meat is no longer pink.

When the meat is browned, stir in the tomato paste and the flour, and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, and red wine, and bring to a boil. Season the sauce with the oregano, nutmeg and salt and pepper. Cover the pan and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.

While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain. Toss well with the sauce.
