Trim fat from meat.

Place jalapeno slices on bottom of crock pot. Place meat on top.

In bowl, combine water with all seasonings. Pour over meat.

Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours or on high 4-4.5 hours.

Using a slotted spoon, remove meat from crock pot, reserving cooking juices.

Once cool enough to handle, shred meat.

Add enough cooking juices to moisten shredded pork.

Discard remaining juices.
