Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan.

In large bowl, mix flours, sugar, baking powder, 1 tbs of the butter, and salt.

Add beer all at once and stir until just combined. Do not beat.

Spoon batter into prepared pan and brush top with the other tbs melted butter.

Bake 50-55 minutes or until bread passes the toothpick test.

Cool 5 minutes in pan.

Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
