Directions:  
1-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2-Beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer.
3-Beat in egg and vanilla.
4-Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
5-Stir flour mixture into sugar and butter mix.
6-Stir in oats, coconut and nuts and roll into 1-1/2 inch balls (approx. 50 ballsl) placing them 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.
7-Cook for at least 12 minutes or until bottom of the cookies is roasted to desire.
