Chop nuts, prunes and dates.

Boil dates and prunes in the one cup of water for 3 minutes; add
margarine and raisins and let cool.

Mix flour, soda, salt, eggs, nuts, spices and vanilla. Add to fruit mixture. Stir to blend.
