Directions:
1
Using a double boiler, melt the butter and chocolate squares. Be careful not to let the water simmer nor boil, only allow the water to get very hot. Do not let the water get into the chocolate or it will ruin. Stir gently, frequently.
2
Using a stand mixer with bowl and whisk attachment, cream the cream cheese until smooth. Scrape the sides often.
3
Add the vanilla extract and half & half. Mix well, scraping sides often.
4
When the chocolate squares are nearly melted, add in the Truvia sweetener. Stir gently, for 2 minutes over the hot water. Do not let the water get into the chocolate or it will ruin!
5
Carefully remove the top portion, holding the melted chocolate and sweetener, and slowly pour the chocolate into the cream cheese.
6
On a low speed, mix the cream cheese and chocolate well. Stop and scrape the sides at least two times. Mix until completely combined.
7
Frost your cookies or muffins. Refrigerate in a covered container for one week.
