In a medium pot over medium heat, bring the water, milk, oats, and oat bran to a boil. Reduce the heat and allow it to simmer, while continuing to stir.
Cook for 10-15 min until your oatmeal is at the consistency you prefer (steel cut oats take longer than tolled oats to cook, so if the oats are still too crunchy after cooking, add a bit more milk and cook for a bit longer).
In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in the frozen blueberries, cottage cheese, agave, and vanilla, stir gently.
Top with walnuts and the cinnamon-sucanat mixture.
