Ingredients:  Makes 7-1/2 servings (7-1/2 pieces)

1/4  teaspoon
 
1/4  teaspoon
 
3  teaspoons
 
16  ounces
 
1  cup
 
 
1  cup
 
1/4  cup
 
5  teaspoons

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan over med/high heat. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Sauce will reduce by at least one third. Set aside.

Combine remaining 6 ingredients in a bowl with 1/2 cup of tomato mixture. Mix well. Shape into a loaf and place into an ungreased loaf pan.

Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and pour off any drippings.

Pour 1/2 cup of remaining tomato mixture on top of the loaf.

Bake an additional 15 minutes.

Place on serving platter. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve the remaining tomato sauce on the side.
