Directions:  
Preheat oven to 350, butter a 9 x 12 oval baking dish.
Stir together flour, spices, oats and sugars. Add butter, with your fingertips, rub the mixture together till it resembles coarse crumbs.. Set aside.
Peel, halve and core the apples then slice lengthwise into 1/2" pieces. Place in a bowl and immediately add the lemon juice and cranberries. Toss to coat evenly.
Pour the filling into the buttered dish, sprinkle the tpping evenly over the fruit, then pat down lightly, leaving about 1/4 inch space between the topping and the sides of the dish.
Bake 40-45 minutes. Let cool on a rack 15 minutes before serving.
