Directions:

Finely chop and saute carrots and onions in butter.

Add vegetable broth and 1/2 tsp each of thyme and sage.

Bring to boil and add potatoes peeled and sliced, corn kernels, half and half.

Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.

mix 3 Tbs each of cornstarch and water until smooth.

Add cornstarch mix to soup and add salt to taste.

Garnish with chives.
