Directions:  
Cream butter, brown sugar, molasses, and egg until fluffy. Mix dry ingredients except white sugar until well mixed. Blend into butter mixture. Form into 1” balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place 2” apart on cookie sheet because they will spread. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 F.
