Boil carrots and butternut squash for 15 minutes in enough water to cover them

Sautee apples with 2 tsp. butter until soft

drain carrots and butternut squash and puree them in the blender with the apples, 1/2 cup water, and spices until smooth

pour puree back into the pot along with the 1/2 cup skim milk and 1/2 tbsp. agave

bring mixture to a boil until desired thickness is reached
