Directions:  
This dish is really easy to make. Fill a saucepan half way (or however full you would like it) with the chicken broth. Cut equal amounts of carrots and onions and place in pot until just under the level of the broth (you want some extra broth so the soup isn't too thick).

Cook on medium-low heat for an hour. Remove bay leaf from pot if used. Cool the soup and then purée! Salt and pepper to taste.
