Preheat oven to 350 F.

Stir together apples, 1/4 cup of the brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice; pour into 1.5 quart baking dish

Cut together other 1/4 cup brown sugar, flour, oats, and butter

Sprinkle flour mixture over apples in baking dish

Bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes, until apples are tender and top is lightly browned. Yields about 1/2 cup per serving
