Watermelon Strawberry Sorbet

2-1/2  cups		watermelon, cubed
1/4  cup		lemon juice
1/2  cup		water
1  cup		Splenda granulated sweetener
1-1/2  cups		Sliced Strawberries, fresh
2		Mint Leaves

Directions:

1 Place cut watermelon and strawberries in freezer while preparing the syrup.

Cook the water, sugar and lemon juice together, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved.

Add the mint leaves, simmer on low for 10 minutes
4. Remove syrup from the heat and chill.

Puree the watermelon and cut strawberries in a blender or food processor.

Add in the chilled syrup, pouring through a fine mesh strainer to remove the mint leaves.

Pour mixture into in an ice cream maker, and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions (approx. 20-25 minutes usually works).

Pack into an airtight container and store in the freezer until ready to serve. Serving size is 1/2 cup.
