Fill large pot with 1.5 qts water , add 1 Tbsp salt and bring to a boil. Cook the egg noodles until just done ( al-dente) . Drain noodles and set aside. Drain excess water from pot.

Put broth and water the 3 cups water into same pot. Bring to just boiling.

Add the vegetables, spices and chop or shred the chicken breasts and add to soup pot. Use liquid from canned chicken in the soup.

Bring back to a boil. reduce heat to high simmer and simmer for about 45 minutes to cook vegetables and develop flavors. Add the egg noodles, bring back to a boil and then simmer for another 10 minutes.
