It's a great substitute for dairy in a smoothie, in case you can't tolerate milk. Blend your smoothie mixed to twice its initial volume ate about 100 fewer calories at lunch than when they drank the same smoothie at its original volume. The extra air makes you feel fuller, says researchers.
