Cook noodles low car or Brown Rice according to directions.

cook, make your sauce: heat up your broth in a pot. In a medium size bowl, mix together the remaining sauce ingredients. Add the heated broth to the bowl and stir to mix. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok, over medium-high heat. Add garlic, saute 30 seconds. Add asparagus and saute 3 minutes. Add shrimp, saute 2-3 minutes, or until done. Move asparagus & shrimp to the side and add the broth mixture. Wait until the mixture is good and bubbly so it thickens up – stir in the asparagus & shrimp.

Kid-friendly note: I pull out a little bit of the shrimp and asparagus before adding the sauce. I serve the kids’ portion on the noodles with just a bit of broth & peanut butter whisked together as a sauce.
