Directions:  
Peel and cube turnips
put in pan with enough water to cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until fork tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
When tender, drain water
Place in large mixing bowl and use fork to break up turnips into smaller bits.
Add milk and butter. Blend to desired consistency.
Add salt and pepper to taste.

Note1: Keep an eye on the water level during simmer as the turnips tend to absorb water as the cook.

Note 2: Process as you would potatoes.
