In stand mixer, whip cream and powdered sugar on high speed, only until stiff peaks form (if you go beyond this, the cream will turn into butter).

Put whipped cream mixture into another container and refrigerate.

In same bowl (don't need to wash) and with paddle attachment, beat cream cheese on high speed for about two minutes, until smooth.

Add sugar slowly and beat at low speed until smooth.

Scrape down sides of bowl, add sour cream and vanilla and beat until smooth.

Fold together the two mixtures.

Pour into crust.

Refrigerate 4 hours or until set.
