Calories Burned:  238 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Primary Muscles Trained:  Gluteus Maximus
Instructions:
START: Stand tall with arms hanging at your sides.

MOVEMENT: Keeping your knee straight, kick your right leg up as you simultaneously take a step forward. (Just imagine that you are a Russian soldier.) Push through your heel. Don't let your left knee bend. Keep your chest upright. As soon as your right foot touches the floor, repeat the movement with your left leg. Alternate back and forth.

This exercise loosens your glutes and hamstrings.
