Yoga Level 2: Tree with Lotus

Calories Burned:  170 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Instructions: 
1. Stand with feet together, arms down alongside your body.
2. Bend left knee. Bring the outside of the left foot to the front of the right hip using your hands.
3. Bring hands to prayer position.
4. Bend at the hips and fold your torso over legs until your fingers come to the floor while maintaining a staight spine.
5. Bend your right knee as if you were squatting. Lower your body straight down toward the floor, coming up on the ball of your right foot.
6. Release your fingertips from the floor and find your balance.
7. Bring hands together in prayer position in front of your chest.
8. Hold for 5 breaths.
9. Release fingertips to the floor.
10. Straighten your right leg, lift your hips toward the ceiling, your torso over your leg.
11. Bring hands to prayer position.
12. Keep your spin straight and lift your torso to vertical position.
13. Lower your right foot to floor.
14. Extend your arms alongside your body.
15. Repeat on other leg.
