Don't cook cold chicken! Allow the chicken and rub to sit at room temp for 20-30 min, cold chicken in a hot pan is a no- no. It is best to use a cast iron skillet with a splash guard. Make sure the cast iron pan is pre-heated over medium-high heat, otherwise you wont get that crust.

Mix all spices and rub over each chicken breast and allow to sit at room temp for 20-30 min.
