My ultimate goal is to get back down to 130 lbs. But when I set that as my goal, it seemed impossibly far away. In fact it seemed so far away that I never made any real progress towards getting there. Answer? I made the goal more accessible. My new goal was to lose 8 lbs by March 4, 2010. On an exceptionally long work day like today, it's easy to feel guilty when I can't make it to the gym. I have to physically stop myself from starving myself in an effort to compensate. On days like today, I remind myself that rest is important too. I've been training really hard over the last week and it's starting to wear on me. So I'm on deployment at NSA Bahrain. My fiance is coming out to see me in just 6 short weeks. I really want to be in the best possible shape by the time he gets here. I'm spending extra time in the gym and have started adding some strength training to help add a little more muscle tone. It's still just so frustrating. It seems like all I'm doing is telling myself no. No ice cream, no cake, no wine. Trying to remember the end goal can be so tough sometime...
