Whiners

I hate whiners.  I have my own problems, and I really don't want to hear someone else's.  But this is what I'm subjected to, because I try to be civil with my work out mates at Golds.  "Joe" is a great guy.  He spots me from time to time, and while we don't really socialize outside the gym, he seems for the most part like a decent person.

UNTIL  he starts whining.  Last couple of weeks "Joe" as I will call him, decides that he can dump his workout issues on me.  "I feel rundown, I missed a couple of days this month, I'm sore.  It goes on and on.  It's gotten so bad, that If I didn't need him to give me a spot from time to time, that I would tell him find someone who gives a s***.

I know that sounds cruel, but here is the thing (and I swear I've told Joe the same thing, he just won't listen).  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with listening to your body.  If you're tired, and run down, take a day or two off (NO GUILT REQUIRED).  LISTEN TO YOUR Body!!  Sometimes it's trying to tell you something.  If it hurts, don't just continue your routine, REST!  If you feel lethargic, change the ROUTINE, or try a supplement that provides an energy boost.  JUST DON'T WHINE, AND DON'T QUIT.
