It was nice to go to the gym yesterday. I got on the eliptical (I have notoriously bad knees, and two compressed discs from running cross-country in high school/college) and did my 45 minutes of torture without feeling too exhausted. Got through my workout, without missing too many reps. Even had enough energy to work in some extra reps on arms.
I'm looking stronger too. Arms and chest have a nice pump. Need to work harder on my string bean legs, but that's typical for me anyway.
If I could only lose 5 more lbs. Still have that damn inch of blubber on stomach and waist that I can't get rid of.
I still eat too much junk food. I need to adjust to the new reality of being 40. If I eat junk, I might as well just rub it onto my stomach and waist, rather than waste time digesting it.
