I'm happy to report that I made it to the gym this morning. I had a hard time waking up and arrived a bit late, but I made it! Got a pretty easy, 45 minute workout in. At this point, my goal is to make it to the gym at least 4 days a week, even if it's just to step on the treadmill for a half hour. Just as long as I'm not sleeping in instead of working out, I'll feel better about myself.
They say that it takes 21 days to acquire new habits and break bad ones. I'm willing to test that theory. I've got 19 days to go (and I promise to do my best to stick to it). Let the countdown begin!
