Inspired by my diet prescription yesterday, I discovered I make a mean Turkey Burger. I used 1 pound of lean turkey meat & added some basic spices & condiments--Worcestershire sauce, light soy sauce, mustard, parsley, cayenne, garlic powder, ranch seasoning, salt, & pepper--basically, whatever I found in my cabinet. I divided the meat into four patties & cooked on my stove top with a grill pan. They came out really nice. I put the burger on an Arnold's Multigrain Sandwich Thin, which is my new bread "go-to" at 100 calories each, with grilled onions & mustard. I've been making more of an effort to prepare food at home and shop more cost efficently at the grocery store. So, if anyone has any quick & easy, everyday recipes for me, please share.
