Day One

It's 11:49 p.m. and I'm just getting around to posting my intake calories for the day. I felt like I ate nothing today but according to the counter, I just squeeked in under 1200 today. The great news was that I added my nightly popcorn snack and was still ok. I am really going to make an effort at doing this. I read that you can double your weight loss if you will keep a food journal. Man, if that's all it takes, I'll certainly give it a try. It has to become a habit. I've never read labels in my life - I'm 42! See what aging does to you? One way or another you have to face reality that you can't - well, maybe you can - I'll check out all my fun foods tomorrow - you can't eat just junk food and get away with it forever. That was all I ate through my 20's and I had the nerve to think I was fat at 127 lbs.! I so wish I could be that fat again! These are life lessons that can only be learned by living. So this is day one.
