So I was thinking to myself...How do I lose weight when I loooove my carbs. Pasta, bread, rice, and all other kinds of yummy carbs. I think the word carbs have become a bad word. I tried to make alot of chicken and veggies and try to eat very little carbs. It's an unrealistic goal for me. I love carbs way too much. So I though to myself how could I eat carbs and still lose weight. Obviously keeping in mind I am eating a healthy diet as it is...No junk food, processed foods, chip, candy, pop...you know the obvious...
Then it hit me..It's all about PORTION CONTROL!!!
You realize how exciting this is? Jenny craig, weight watchers, and all those other diets eat carbs and lose weight...Its the portion that is different.
So I calculated how many weight watcher points I would need to lose weight and it turns out I need 29...
So I buy "smart ones" frozen dinner which tell you how many points are in that particular dinner...
Also it is a good way to eat low cal!!!!
So I eat
Breakfast.... 2 slices of 100% whole grain toast
with peanut butter
A cheese string
a cup of fat free and no sugar added yogurt.
with 2 cups of skim milk
snack
1/2 cup almonds with a banana
Lunch
a frozen smart one (any kind)
with 2 cups of skim milk
snack
strawberries
dinner
smart one
2 cups of skim milk
snack
yogurt and cheese string
And yesssss Its under 1500 calories a day!!!!
It feels like i am not even on a diet...
and!!! if ou do cook some chicken or pasta or ANY meal....
Just reuse the frozen dinner tray as a plate....that way you stay in the portion control.
